The year was 2014 and God spoke to three pastors about a community revival. With a vision, prayer and God’s guidance brought this all together. A week long revival for saving and growth in our local community. How large of a community? See for yourself. Over 39 churches represented during the week, two saved and many rededication’s.
Several individuals and businesses helped in making it happen. We would like to say thank those that stepped up to help.
The weather was nothing like we had ever experience before. The revival was held the last week in July which is usually one of the hottest times of the year. Many folks came together and prayed that the weather would be tolerable. God went far and beyond tolerable, it was the coolest week of the month with a high of 84.9° and a low of 54° (lowest recorded). During July we usually have popup showers. The first night we thought we were going to get a horrible storm. It went around us and actually had destructive high winds in a neighboring county. Zero rain, light breeze, that’s how awesome our God is!
